Itinerary
DAY 1 – Arrive in Oslo. Kick off dinner.
DAY 2 – Vigeland Sculpture Park, Norwegian Museum of Cultural History (Norsk Folkemuseum), and guided walking tour. Dinner on the Harbour Promenade.
DAY 3 – Bus to Flam, a small picturesque village situated on one of Norway’s most dramatic fjords. Visit the Borgund Stave Church, an old wooden medieval church, on the way. Floating sauna.
DAY 4 – Take the Flam Railway, widely considered the most scenic train ride in the world. Hike and bike the way back, passing dozens of waterfalls. Taking the train back is an option. Boat tour of the fjords.
DAY 5 – Bus to Bergen. Stop at the Viking Village and stop at Voss on the way to float the river, hot tub and sauna, and lunch. Finish traveling to Bergen.
DAY 6 – Walking tour through Bryggen, a UNESCO World heritage site. Cultural Performance.
Day 7 – Funicular, short hike to lake, and farewell dinner.
DAY 8 – Fly home.
*Optional 2 day add-on to hike Trolltunga. Hike 13 miles to the iconic Trolltunga (troll’s tongue), a rock jutting out over a fjord – it’s incredible! Email if interested.

Save your spot with a $200 deposit (nonrefundable). Remaining payment is due 30 days after registering or you lose your spot. After April 1, 2026, full trip payment is due upon registering.
Payment plans available for registrations prior to April 1, 2026. Email info@taprootstravel.com for details.
Cancellation Policy: No refunds after 30 days of registering or after April 1, 2026. However, you may sell or transfer your trip to another person.
